A while ago, I was assigned a flight to take a delegation to a church conference in Yalmeby, picking up a patient in Urop on the way back.
I am always happy and grateful when I can serve my neighbor with the gift of flying helicopters. The flight with the delegation went smoothly and I was able to drop off the patient at the hospital in Dekai.
Every year, I have to fly a check flight to renew my license. This check flight is preceded by a training session in which, together with experienced pilots, we discuss and practice various flight emergencies such as engine failure, hydraulic failure, tail rotor failure and engine fire. On this flight I was accompanied by my instructor Matt. These flights keep you “on the ball” and also boost your confidence which is important for making quick and good decisions. At this time of year, the weather is often bad because it is the rainy season, but we were able to conduct these flights safely.
I am thankful for protection, for keeping me safe on all the flights and for the gift and privilege of being able to fly helicopters. Thank you to all the supporters who make this ministry possible!
Dyro, Pilot
